Post-Capitalist Karaoke (2018/2019) is a work in process.
Each song will use a modified karaoke video to interrogate the emerging politics of the distributed economy.
Using the Ethereum blockchain, a series of custom karaoke videos will be tokenized, using KaraokeCoin tokens. This will enable fractional ownership of video artworks.
Participants will redeem ownership of the video artworks through “proof of song” whereby they must sing the karaoke song and upload a video of themselves singing it to a distributed video platform.
