In the spring of 2025, I transformed a shed in my back yard into an ambisonic sound studio. Shown here are the construction images. Ambisonic is an immersive audio standard that lets you mix your audio in a virtual "dome" which can then be transposed into larger rooms with more speakers. I designed it using a cube as the layout with plans to eventually expand the system from 8 to 14 speakers. The system use two daisychained scarlet audio interfaces into a 16 channel 30w amp. The amp feeds two salvaged home theater systems.
